6 Possible Picks For Twitter’s Next CEO

As Dick Costolo’s reign at the helm of Twitter ended Wednesday and former chief Jack Dorsey stepped back in as interim CEO, the company is searching for someone to fill Costolo’s shoes long-term. Who could that new face be?

HuffPost Live’s Alyona Minkovski drew a few predictions Wednesday from Amish Shah, CEO of the executive recruiting firm Millennium Search. Shah suggested six possible candidates, including three current Twitter executives: chief financial officer Anthony Noto, president of global revenue Adam Bain and vice president of global media Katie Jacobs Stanton. Potential external hires include Facebook’s chief operating officer Sheryl Sandberg; Yahoo CEO Marissa Mayer; and Facebook’s vice president of global marketing solutions, Carolyn Everson.

In the video above, watch Shah share his predictions and explain what each possible CEO hire would tell us about Twitter’s plans for its future.
